Curriculum and Teaching Services

Music teaching can be exhausting, and we understand how hard it is to continuously come up with creative ways to teach young students after a full day of lessons. On the other hand, young kids and novices need teachers who can instruct in easy-to-understand, imaginative, and systematic ways. To achieve this, we collaborate with the most experienced working teachers and professionals to create curriculum and detailed teaching plans for the beginning years of musical learning. Based on our work and research, we support young music teachers through online courses, digital teaching plan services, face-to-face trainings and workshops and more. All this makes it easier for young music teachers to start teaching in a fun and systematic way.

Digital Tools

Based on our years of experience in music teaching and learning, we offer two categories of tools and services. The first is an assessment tool for teachers to assess a student’s skill levels in various aspects of music learning, as well as provide learning assistance to their students even after lessons. The second is a management tool for teachers or teaching studio owners to manage their classes and staff.

Learning Community

Teaching should not be a seclusive process. We find that when immersed in an open and supportive culture, a teacher benefits from the collective wisdom and grows quickly. Therefore, one of DoSoMi’s core activities is to organize online and local face-to-face learning communities. Members share their latest findings and resources in teaching, as well as support each other in all aspects of the teaching life. We are grateful to currently have a growing population of more than 26,000 music teachers throughout China in our learning family.

Machine Assisted Teaching

As the learners base expands, music teachers need to accomodate increasingly diverse needs of families and students. For a truly personalized music education, a teacher needs to be able to track each student’s learning progress merticulously, deeply understand his/her learning strengths and weaknesses, and support him/her on a timely basis. In order for a music teacher to do all this, while at the same time decrease the workload, it is essential to arm them with 21st century technologies.

Since the start up of our company, we have been working closely with hundreds of educators and learners. With our expertise in machine learning, big data, product design, and music education, we have been inventing and testing ways to assist teachers in providing highly personalized and comprehensive music education in a more efficient way.
